abstract
this study investigates the effects of replacement of fish oil by sunflower oil and colsa oil as the vegetable oils, on growth and nutrition performance and survival rate of rutilus frissi kutum with initial average weight 3.65±0.39 g over 8 weeks. three diets were supplemented with 8.5% of either fish oil (control), sunflower oil, and colsa oil, respectively in triplicates. after the experimental period, there were no significant differences between different treatments in any of parameters (p>0.05). so can be concluded that the dietary fish oil of rutilus frissi kutum can be replaced by sun flower oil and colsa oil without any negative effects

This study was carried out to determine the effects of Immunogen as a prebiotic on growth-related parameters and gut micro-flora in R. kutum fry. A basal diet was formulated using common feed ingredients supplemented with Immunogen at 0, 1, 1.5, and 2 g kg-1 leading to four experimental diets. Fish were randomly distributed in 500 L fiberglass tanks (1×1×0.5 m). The experiment lasted for eight ...
